Partner With Us

We Can Accomplish More Together.

No single organization can provide every resource, service, experience, or opportunity a community needs.

That is why partnerships are central to how Spokane Slavic Association works.

SSA collaborates with nonprofits, government agencies, businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, foundations, cultural institutions, faith communities, professionals, and community groups to connect people with resources and create opportunities that would be difficult to build alone.

What Partnership Can Look Like

Three Ways We Work Together

SSA generally approaches community collaboration through three models.

Become Part of SSA

You Lead It. We Help It Grow.

An initiative may become part of SSA while the person or team who developed it continues to play a leadership role.

SSA can provide organizational infrastructure, administration, fundraising support, communications, partnerships, volunteer coordination, and other resources while program leadership remains close to the people who understand the initiative best.

Depending on available resources, leadership may begin as a volunteer role and develop into a paid position if sustainable funding becomes available.

Funds and donations raised for an SSA program are managed through SSA and used in accordance with the program purpose, donor restrictions, organizational policies, and applicable requirements.

Operate Independently, Work Closely With SSA

Your Organization. Our Shared Resources.

An independent project or organization may remain separate while developing an ongoing relationship with SSA.

Collaboration may include:

  • Facility use
  • Referrals
  • Outreach
  • Shared events
  • Volunteer connections
  • Promotion
  • Equipment or resources
  • Program collaboration
  • Other mutually beneficial support

Each organization remains responsible for its own operations, finances, governance, and legal obligations unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Financial contributions, sponsorships, donations, or shared costs can be established when appropriate for the collaboration.

Collaborate on Specific Opportunities

Independent Organizations. Shared Goals.

Sometimes the best partnership is simply working together when a specific opportunity makes sense.

SSA may collaborate with another organization on:

  • A community event
  • A workshop
  • An outreach campaign
  • A grant-funded initiative
  • A public information project
  • A special activity
  • A community response
  • Another clearly defined project

There is no expectation that every collaboration must become a permanent partnership.

We work together when doing so creates meaningful value for both organizations and the community.

Referral Partnerships

SSA does not need to duplicate services already being provided effectively by another organization.

When a community member needs specialized assistance, we prefer to connect them with an appropriate provider.

Likewise, organizations can refer people to SSA when our programs or resources may be a good fit.

Strong referral relationships help people navigate community resources more effectively.

Government & Institutional Partnerships

SSA's relationships within immigrant, Slavic, and multilingual communities can also support organizations working to make information and services more accessible.
