Who We Are
At Spokane Slavic Association, we are more than an organization—we are a growing community of people committed to support, empowerment, and cultural preservation. With deep roots in Spokane County and a strong connection to the diverse cultures of the Slavic world, we strive to create a welcoming space where individuals and families can access the resources they need to thrive.

About Us
Spokane Slavic Association is a nonprofit built on community trust and the belief that everyone deserves access to opportunities, no matter their background. Our programs support economic independence, cultural education, and social inclusion.

Mission and Goals
We are guided by a clear mission and vision that shape everything we do. Our goals focus on empowering individuals, building sustainable programs, and preserving the cultural identity of the Slavic community.

Slavic People
Who are the Slavs? This section explores the rich linguistic, cultural, and historical background of the Slavic people, and highlights why Spokane County has become home to over 60,000 Slavs from across the globe.

Ukrainian Closet
Our very first project, the Ukrainian Closet, was launched to support newly arriving Ukrainian refugees with clothing, household items, and basic necessities. It laid the foundation for our broader mission of compassion and service. Today, it has grown into the Spokane International Resource Center, serving people of all backgrounds.
