SSA does not guarantee employment or hiring decisions. Final hiring decisions and employment conditions remain the responsibility of participating employers.

For employers

Looking for Employees?

SSA can help businesses connect with community members seeking employment.

Depending on the employer's needs and available SSA capacity, we may assist with:

  • Sharing job openings
  • Community recruitment
  • Candidate outreach
  • Connections with potential applicants
  • Hiring events
  • Multilingual recruitment outreach
  • Workforce partnerships

SSA is also developing additional employer-supported recruitment and placement services that may be offered on a fee-for-service basis.

Revenue from mission-aligned workforce services can help SSA expand employment assistance for community members and strengthen the long-term sustainability of our programs.

A Step Toward Economic Mobility

Employment assistance is not only about getting the next job.

For some participants, the next step may be gaining additional skills, improving English, earning a certification, advancing into a better position, or eventually starting a business.

SSA's workforce programs are designed to help participants identify those next steps and connect with appropriate opportunities.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

Whether you are looking for your first job in the United States, returning to the workforce, changing careers, or searching for a better opportunity, SSA can help you identify practical next steps.
